Members of the MIT community are invited to join MIT-EMS on Thursday, April 2 for MassCPR 2009. Help improve public health and safety at MIT by becoming certified in CPR and AED (defibrillator) use, and have fun while doing it!
What: MassCPR 2009
When: Thursday, April 2, 1-5 p.m. or 6-10 p.m.
Where: La Sala de Puerto Rico, Stratton Student Center
MassCPR 2009 will take place in La Sala de Puerto Rico in the Stratton Student Center. You have the choice of attending afternoon (1–5 p.m.) or evening (6–10 p.m.) sessions. The class is free for undergraduates and graduate students and is $5 for everyone else, payable at the door. In addition to CPR training and certification, participants will receive a free tee-shirt and goodie bag and will be entered in a raffle to win great prizes.
To reserve a spot in one of the sessions, sign up online or at the booth in the Student Center. Walk-ins are welcome on a space-available basis, but this is a very popular event and classes are often filled quickly. Over the last three years, more than 300 members of the MIT community have become certified in CPR and AED use through MassCPR events.
