MIT Medical is all a-Twitter

MIT Medical is now Twittering at http://twitter.com/MITmedical. For the uninitiated, Twitter is a “micro-blogging” site where people and organizations post short updates (up to 140 characters) notifying readers about news headlines or just what they’re up to at the moment. Posted items (called “tweets”) usually contain a link to a web site for more information.

Recent tweets from MIT Medical point readers to an article on keeping healthy New Year’s resolutions and the latest Ask Lucy column.

You can see MIT Medical’s Twitter posts even if you don’t have your own Twitter account. If you already have one (or you create one for free), you can sign into Twitter.com, go to the MIT Medical page at http://twitter.com/MITmedical, and click on the “follow” button to get automatic notifications of new tweets from MIT Medical on your own Twitter page. You can even follow tweets on your cellphone.
