Community Wellness at MIT Medical
Overview
With MIT’s unique culture in mind, Community Wellness at MIT Medical provides resources and designs programs to help all members of the MIT community learn about making healthy choices that will allow you to get the most out of your time at MIT. We work with all members of the MIT community, including students, faculty, staff, and families (including international families).

What we do
We work as wellness specialists and advocates by:
- Offering individual and group consultations (refer to list above)
- Teaching classes and workshops
- Designing and leading custom workshops and education programs at your location
- Facilitating several ongoing groups including MIT spouses&partners, “Making Peace With Food,” and groups for new and expectant parents
- Holding special events such as getfit@mit
- Training and mentoring MedLinks (student peer health advocates in most undergraduate living areas)
