Family members must enroll in the Student Medical Plan in order to enroll in the Extended Insurance. They may not enroll in the Extended Insurance Plan only.
To choose the MIT Medical Plan only for partner/dependents, the student must show that their partner/dependents are also enrolled in an insurance plan that satisfies Massachusetts state requirements for health insurance coverage.
